Our November issue is full of new designs and creations that I hope you’ll find inspiring or useful.
As always, I’d love to keep this useful and informative for you, so don’t be shy,
send me your feedback, ideas and things you’d like to see included.
Congratulations to all the artists of oneTree 2019 on a wonderful show! Artists and visitors alike were
awestruck at the beauty and diversity of the pieces.
Thank you to the Bateman team for getting everything ready for the
grand opening weekend which saw almost 500 visitors to the gallery!
Here’s the story behind John’s creation: The Sea Bed Coffee Table,
inspired by shape and history of the oneTree. Kelp sculptures and antique
anchor with chain by Cowichan Artisan Travis Rankin support the
hand floated glass, water’s surface. Soft lighting emanates from
the bottom showing off the amazing grains in the wood which are reminiscent of the swirled sand of the sea floor.
Available after February 29th for $6,000 CAD
Shout out and big love to Philpotts Interiors and their client, Hotel Wailea (who were
voted #1 resort in Hawai’i), for entrusting us with this very special bedroom project.

I know it’s still November… but…
This is the fourth year that John is handing over the workshop to a volunteer crew of festive
Live Edge employees who will volunteer their time to build toys for local teachers and help a local hamper drive.
