THE BEST IN WEST COAST INTERIOR DESIGN IDIBC SHINE AWARDS
We recently attended an exceptional event hosted by the Interior Designers Institute of British-Columbia,
showcasing the talent showcasing the talent, skills and innovation of the Province’s Professional
Interior Designers.
At Live Edge Design, we pride ourselves on our creative collaboration with Interior Designers.
We were incredibly impressed with the caliber of design excellence show at these awards that
we simply had to share it!
Complete with a Roaring 20s costume theme, a total of 25 awards
were given out in nine categories with design solutions that span commercial and residential interiors.

Founded in 1950, IDIBC is the self-regulatory professional body for interior design practitioners in BC.
The Registered Interior Designer (RID) certification, assures individuals that the designer has completed the
accepted coursework and met the stringent professional standards in accordance with the prescribed Code of Ethics.
Every year, IDIBC hosts an Awards of Excellence night, also known as the Shine Awards. The Awards of
Excellence have demonstrated the excellence and innovation of Registered Interior Designers in BC since 1981.
