OUR ROOTS🌿

January 2025 marks 19 years in business for Live Edge Design. Over the years, we've made many friends, many beautiful pieces of furniture and made many employee and client connections. 

This Thanksgiving, I'm so thankful for our team. We've laughed, we've cried and we've had a whole lot of fun. From street hockey in the parking lot, international trade shows, visits to interior design firms and a team spa day at Tigh-Na-Mara's Grotto Spa we've made some truly amazing connections. I am so grateful to experience this journey with each and every one of you. 

Sitting at the table reflecting on the last 12 months brings up memories of client onsite installs, design discussions, meetings about incredible projects and I feel overcome with gratitude and would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to our clients and purchasing agents. Without you, Live Edge Design would not be what is has become today. 

Live Edge Design started in 2006. Pre-06, we were known as Pickle Ridge Rustic Carpentry. Pickle Ridge specialized in building hand-crafted rustic furniture to add warmth and charm to any residential or commercial setting. Think willow chairs and alder bed frames. From these roots, we learned the meaning of luxury and expanded our area of expertise. Our luxury west coast furniture still strives to add warmth and beauty to luxurious spaces around North America.

Much has changed since 2006 but our goals remain the same. To provide our clients around the world with beautiful furniture without compromising comfort, function or durability.

COWICHAN ARTISANS

Live Edge Design is proud to be a part of the 14th annual Cowichan Artisans Tour with a group of local artisans brimming with passion and creativity in the unique spaces where they create and perfect their craft. The Cowichan Artisans operate galleries, studios and create on a full-time basis. Eclectic offerings range from fine furniture, ceramics, paintings, metal, wood, collage, fabric and glass.

Stop by our studio Saturday October 26th and Sunday October 27th to see what we've been working on! Map and tour dates and times are below.
