The Summer is a time for savoring the long sunny days, swimming in the river, dining al fresco with loved ones and creating space for inspiration to come. That quiet place where a solution to a problem you didn't even know your brain was working on, strikes.

The successful completion of a complex and unique series of designs for a client or project is where we are happiest. The most rewarding part is creating WITH the designer or homeowner.

We offer an art furniture experience, but what does Art Furniture mean? 

In the ever-evolving world of interior design, the convergence of art and furniture offers an exciting canvas for designers. Art furniture is defined as furniture with a creative touch. Not only is furniture functional, it also gives the space some personality. We specialize in solid wood furniture with a unique art experience for our residential clients and a smooth, high-quality service for our commercial clients.

Art furniture is manufactured with a focus on quality construction, beautiful style and unique design. When you really stop and think about it, furniture is art. There is no functional reason for a table leg to be turned or a chair back to be carved in a certain way. It is all about design and aesthetics. 

We are stewards of the natural, original wood coloring and grain of all wood species. We strive to share our furniture knowledge and passion for the craft with our customers and share this art furniture experience with you. It is truly an honor to be represented in your homes as we are.

This month's feature artist spotlight falls on Cathi Jefferson Pottery.

Cathi Jefferson is a local artist and member of the Cowichan Artisans and has been creating salt fired stoneware for more than thirty years. Her wares are so beautiful and ornately crafted. 

Whether through collaborations with artists, exploration of unconventional materials, or incorporation of cultural references, the fusion of art and furniture design promises to push the boundaries of interior aesthetics and enrich the spaces we inhabit.
