TARIFF UPDATE

This has been the hardest newsletter to write to date...and it's long overdue.

With over half of our business coming from large hospitality projects in the US, we've been feeling the effects around the uncertainty of tariffs.

It's been a time of many meetings and deep reflection and I am convinced now, more than ever, that it is how you face a challenge that matters, not the challenge itself.

As 100% Canadian-made furniture our pieces our tariff free, as of today and we promise to keep you in the loop as this evolves and to tackle whatever we face, head on, with every creative solution we can muster.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide open and transparent communication on the impacts of US tariffs here's what we are doing;

• We are installing new machinery and processes to reduce our production times and be more competitive. Come by or facetime our sales team for a tour.
• We have expanded our folding event furniture line. We love taking a piece of furniture and making it function well to solve existing marketplace problems. We now have a towable cart for 10 tables!
• Our pricing is as custom as our furniture which means we can shop around and value engineer to meet budgets.
• Live Edge Design itself imports wood, hardware and other supplies from the USA and we send many finished products to the United States as well. This helps reduce additional costs to you as we are able to claim any border fees back.

We strive to earn your business through our exceptional customer service and quality craftsmanship and by solving your problems through clever furniture design.

We take an idea, concept or sketch and bring our furniture design and wood knowledge to the table (Ha! pun intended).

KEEPING MOTIVATED

This month we attended HOTEC in Scottsdale, AZ and had the incredible opportunity to meet Anthony Robles and hear him speak about his journey…his motivational message is incredibly moving and needs to be shared.

It’s not about the challenges we face, it’s about our response to that challenge. Shifting our mental state from focusing on the challenge to meeting the challenge head on. Amazon made a movie of his story (trailer below)
