In March, our Sales team attended the Vancouver Island Society of Interior Designers VIDEX event (formerly DesignEx) and demo'd our Portable Induction Buffet Warming Station for the first time since 2019! (information poster below)
With chocolate fondue, fruit kabobs and over 200 attendees, it was a fantastic night of networking, nibbles and new technology to share.
With warmer weather on the horizon, we are so excited to start working with more local designers and firms through our lunch 'n learn programs, in person events and sales missions abroad. Email [email protected] to set up a lunch 'n learn for your team!
And at the end of March, our president and founder John celebrated his 30th wedding anniversary to his wife and spent a weekend away in Ucluelet, visiting some of our pieces at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort and others in the area. Ucluelet is a popular area near Tofino for surfing year round. It is great for storm watching, rugged nature and its many beaches. You will find much of our furniture in luxury resorts and homes in these populated areas. Congratulations John on 17 years of owning Live Edge Design and 30 years of marriage. You inspire us all.

Portable Event Furniture

Live Edge Design is a part of the local Artisans of Cowichan Valley and each year we open our studio twice for a Spring and a Fall tour. We are a single stop on a much larger map, with other Artisans opening up their respective studios as well. Artisans include painters, jewelers, sculptors, potters, glass blowers and many more!
Join us April 22nd and 23rd for this year's Spring Tour! We will be open Saturday and Sunday to the public from 10am-5pm for shop tours.
